Nan sits in Northern Thailand fertile valley, nearly 668 kilometers from Bangkok. The districts in this sleepy province include Mueang, Wiang Sa, Na Noi, Pua, Chiang Klang, Tha Wang Pha, Thung Chang, Mae Charim, Ban Luang, Na Mun, Santi Suk, Bo Kluea, Chaloem Phra Kiat, Song Khwae, and Phu Phiang.
The inhabitants of Nan are Laotian by descent, and many can trace their heritage back more than 700 years in the Pua district, eventually settling on the Nan River basin. The province’s history is deeply entangled in political and religious turmoil with the various nations that occupied it—Lanna, Burma and Thailand Tours. Today Nan is still home to many of the original hilltribes who continue to practice their unique customs and traditions.

Phitsanulok - Tours of Northern Thailand
Located 377 kilometers to the north of Bangkok, Phitsanulok sits on the borders of Uttaradit, Phichit, Loei, Phetchabun, Kamphaeng Phet and Sukothai. The province divides Thailand Tours north and central regions and thus is an ideal hub for travellers visiting both the lower north and western northeast regions of the country. This makes Phitsanulok a prime location for tourists, and the region boasts several wildlife parks and trekking opportunities along the Maenam Nan and Maenam Kwae Noi rivers.
In addition to these nature activites, Phitsanulok provides a number of archeological and cultural destinations. The temple of Wat Chula Mani is of particular interest, as are the ancient ruins dating back more than 2,000 years.
The legendary King Naresuan the Great (1590-1605), famous for declaring Ayutthaya’s independence from Burma, was born in Phitsanulok. This helped push the province into the forefront of the Ayutthaya/Burma wars. Phitsnaulok was home to military training camp and a primary recruitment center for Ayutthaya troops. Legend tells of King Naresuan’s vailiant elephant-back fight against the Burmese Crown Prince. His honor and dedication to his country led to a united kingdom free of Burmese invasion.

Hua Hin - Tours of Thailand Beach
Hua Hin enjoys a legacy of being the first real beach development in Thailand, as it has served as a second home location for the Thai royal family. Its proximity to Bangkok was probably the reason it was chosen as the royal retreat and the reason today that it is the playground of Bangkok’s affluent movers and shakers. Hua Hin boasts a large number of spectacular golf courses, and for any serious golfer/traveler it would be considered a “don’t miss.” In addition to the many vacation home and condominium developments, there are a large number of luxury accommodations available. The beach at Hua Hin is average at best, as the water lacks the stillness and sparkling clarity found in many other Thailand Tours beach destinations. However, it still remains a very interesting place to visit, especially for the luxury hotel and golf aficionado.
